Monica Kummerfeldt

As a career recruiter with more than 17 years experience understanding and meeting specific employment needs, Monica Kummerfeldt joins her partners to create a recruiting firm focused on meeting the needs of both clients and candidates. Monica believes that only when both parties' needs are met will a match be successful. She prides herself in asking the right questions then truly listening.

Monica has a solid management background and has been responsible for recruiting and retaining as many as 200 people at a time. Her experience in technical recruiting, temporary management, and permanent staffing has given her exposure to many facets of the search process.

As a resident of central Wisconsin, Monica leverages her many contacts to partner with regional companies and professionals in the areas of engineering, manufacturing, sales and construction (to name a few).  

Monica's time in the office is equally divided among her clients and candidates, striving to understand their objectives, then working to reach the best possible solution for all involved. She's often out in the community building new relationships, strengthening existing ones, and educating the community on the value a search firm like ESP can provide.

When not at work, Monica enjoys training for and running local races and far away marathons, including the Boston Marathon and even a couple extreme-trail ultra-marathons. But her greatest joys are her two daughters, Emma and Grace. Monica hopes they follow in mommy's 'footsteps' as future Cross Country runners.

The balance of family and work is important and, for Monica, the rewards of operating an independent recruiting firm are many. The feeling of accomplishment she gets from making an impact on a person's career and help a company achieve its goals is the ultimate satisfaction.
